Nearly all bottled water brands offer “recyclable” packaging, something we applaud. But the sad truth is that only 9% of global plastic actually gets recycled. The only way to ensure that we’re not introducing new plastic into the environment is to use plastic that’s already been recycled.
Full Victory Functional H20 Beverage: Champion Over Stress with Activated, Ionized, Structured and Slightly Alkaline Functional Wellness Water” is one of the first national brands to use 100% post-consumer recycled plastic. We only use plastic that’s been discarded by consumers, broken down, and recycled into our bottles.
Even the plastic shrink wrap in our multi-packs uses 100% post-consumer recycled plastic, and we’re very close to adopting 100% post-consumer recycled plastic in our labels as well – another industry first.
We use recycled plastic from APR (Association of Plastic Recyclers) certified sources, typically from North America and Europe. Knowing your source is important – unfortunately, some plants are creating new plastic just to recycle it and sell it as recycled plastic.

Full Victory Functional H20’s Beverage goal is to take used plastic out of landfills and re-use this plastic, and then encourage our bottles to be recycled again and again.
A BETTER ALTERNATIVE
Post-consumer recycled plastic remains one of the most sustainable options for consumers. “Ocean-bound” plastic is plastic that’s at risk of reaching the ocean (not plastic that’s sourced from the ocean). While it’s an important part of the overall effort to reduce plastic waste, the reality is that only 3% of the world’s plastic reaches the oceans. And of this, North America accounts for less than 1% of ocean bound plastic globally – which means recycling most ocean bound plastic requires a large carbon footprint to ship and recycle.
